End of Semester Dump

By MAO in , , ,

Now, when I say dump, I mean dump. A whole mess of miscellaneous sketches and things from the past semester. They're not all quality, but they give a good idea of what I do apart from obsessively refined assignments.

My favourite piece from my (pitiful) layout portfolio.

Horizontal layout pan.

Final Mastercopy.

Thumbnails for the first painting assignment. Some ideas I want to explore later.

Outfit ideas for my character, Éclair.

Some expression practise for this wizard character I never ended up using for anything.

Obligatory Jack Frost doodle after I saw RotG.

Quick action pose gestures, 30 sec-1min.

Character design inspired by the amazing Bill Watterson.

Me. I tend to draw myself a lot.

Costumed life drawing using ink and nib. 2 minutes each.

Drew my friend's character while sitting around in class.

More doodling, because I find it hard to pay attention to anything.

The development sketches for the character expression of Acheron, plus a bonus doodle by my friend.

The doodle that inspired my horizontal pan.

Not doing what I should be at the Royal Winter Fair.

Doodle of my character, Teal.

Trying to do something loose digitally.

More boring digital painting practise.

Éclair colour reference.

A quick painting for a friend for Christmas.

Teal drawing that I decided to colour on a whim.

My secret santa gift.
